Competition:
We will be launching our summer competition in April to find which one of us grows the ‘Tallest Sunflower.’
This will be judged at our September meeting. Anyone can join in and the instructions will be handed out during our April meeting with the seeds and will cost £1 a bag. All monies raised will go towards our group funds.

Textile workshop 8th May 2010 Aylesford
The embroiderers’ guild is holding a workshop with Margaret Beal who is a nationally known textile artist. Angela Collins one of our members is also a member of the guild and was wondering if any CCW members would like to come? The guild will only be charging £20 which is apparently a bargain for a full day with Margaret. She is a well known textile artist specialising in using a soldering iron and burning fabrics!
Tea and coffee for the day is only 50 pence! You need to bring your own lunch. If anyone wishes to take part they will need to contact Angela for full details either by emailing her on
