New Artists Represented At Craft Cases, Hazlitt Arts Centre, Maidstone.

Liberty Gallery is pleased to unveil the latest works at the Craft Cases at the Hazlitt Arts Centre in Maidstone. Working in collaboration with Sarah Robson the Arts Development Manager for Maidstone Borough Council, the Craft Cases are a perfect stage for contemporary crafts designed and created in Kent today.

There is work on display from five fine Kent artists – Cas Holmes, a textile artist from Maidstone, Jenny Fairweather, printmaker from Aylesford, Fiona Flynn, glass artist from Downswood, Sonya Oke, textile jeweller from Maidstone and Louisa Crispin, fine silver jeweller from Hawkhurst.
The Quintet of Artists
This quintet of artists produce five very different styles of work and represent the many art and crafts workers we have in our county today, all coming together in the Craft Cases in our County Town.
An array of work by Kentish artists
'Its always great to find new artists' says Patsy Dixon, owner of Liberty Gallery 'and its also great for our customers, existing and new, to be able to find such an eclectic selection in one location in Maidstone. This work will also be part of the Maidstone Contemporary Art, Craft and Design Exhibition – a visual feast of independent art, design and craft all under one roof’. The exhibition runs from 30th November until 31st December.
